The Juniper Schnapps from Austria
The black berries of the juniper bush are highly prized for their crispness and tart spiciness. They are hand-sorted and then steeped in alcohol in our distillery. A few weeks later, an extremely aromatic distillate is produced in the fine distillation process – this is what gives our Juniper Schnapps its strong, slightly tart flavour.
The aroma alone is unmistakable. Due to its bitter elements, it has an appetising effect and is therefore often served as an aperitif. This berry doesn't just work well in gin!
Enjoyment recommendation: Enjoy Juniper Schnapps in a Stamperle Glass or Schnapps Glass at a temperature of between 17 and 20 °C.
