Liqueur pleasure from pine cones

In this liqueur, we have captured the full flavour of the Alps. The Swiss Stone Pine, or "Queen of the Alps", is often referred to as such because of its adaptability. This special type of pine grows at altitudes of 1,300 to 2,850 metres, and its cones provide the unique taste of Wild Mountain Swiss Stone Pine Liqueur.

Harvesting the cones requires climbing and a great deal of effort from experienced pickers. Climbing heights of up to 25 metres to reach the fragrant Swiss Stone Pine cones, pickers need to act quickly because the cones must be processed within the shortest possible time; otherwise, they become bitter and unusable. Freshly delivered, we cut the cones into small pieces and soak them in alcohol. The result is our Wild Mountain Swiss Stone Pine Liqueur. The slightly resinous cones give this speciality liqueur a pleasantly tart, spicy aroma and its typical reddish colour. The intense aroma, the delicate resinous note and slight sweetness are a unique tasting pleasure.

Enjoyment recommendation: Wild Mountain Swiss Stone Pine Liqueur is best enjoyed neat and well chilled, at a temperature of between 10 and 17 °C.
