For our Hafele Subira Brandy, we harvest the fully ripe fruit from our own local standard trees. We refine the hand-selected, full of character Subira pears using Prinz's own Hafele process. Building on 130 years of experience in schnapps production, this combines traditional distilling skills with state-of-the-art distillation technology.
Matured for many years in stoneware, Hafele Subira Pear Brandy smells intensely fruity and captivates with its full-bodied aroma. It has a distinctive varietal character, a spice-enhanced pear flavour and a long-lasting finish – this brandy is a wonderful treat for the palate!

The Subira (Saubirne in German) is a rare, regional fruit variety – a true Vorarlberg original. It always delights with its full-bodied character featuring exciting, spicy notes. Unfortunately, it is difficult to eat raw, developing its flavour best as a distillate.
