The Plum Schnapps from Austria

The region around Lake Constance is home to orchards of many different fruit varieties, some of which are almost as old as our distillery. As the quality of our fruit has always been of the utmost importance to us, we like to use the juicy plums from these trees to make the distillate for our fine Plum Schnapps.

The distillate is left to mature for several years in stoneware, allowing the special aroma to fully develop. This resting period results in fruity, soft taste – on the palate, it develops a marzipan-like note while a well-balanced sugar-acid interplay is noticeable. In addition, there are slight hints of roasted aromas. All in all, a delicious speciality schnapps!

Enjoyment recommendation: Enjoy Plum Schnapps in a Schnapps Glass or Stamperle Glass, at a temperature of between 17 and 20 °C.
