Hoadla, a mild blueberry schnapps with 34 % vol, boasts fine fruity notes and a lasting finish. From the end of July until September, juicy blueberries – also known as bilberries or huckleberries – ripen in the orchards of the Lake Constance region. The distillate that we make from these sweet and sour berries gives Hoadla an extraordinary flavour. The nose is beautifully fruity and berry-like while, on the palate, this schnapps leaves a smooth impression of fruit with slightly spicy notes. Tastes especially good after a long hike!
Enjoyment recommendation: Enjoy Hoadla chilled in a Stamperle Glass or Prinz Schnapps Glass, at a temperature of between 15 and 18 °C.
